Burberry
Revrac were contacted by Burberry in October 2000. The company was unhappy
with the progress of their ordering system “Connect”.
We identified key actions to stabilise the project and supplied them with
a working system.
Burberry and revrac continue working closely on extending the system into
new areas, improving the usability and profitability of "Connect"
within the Burberry organisation.
The Burberry Connect system allows geographically dispersed agents to
enter and track orders. Since many areas have unreliable telecoms services,
an offline system is available which allows speedy order entry, makes
the system portable and minimises connection charges. The system has been
enhanced to allow agents to order remains of previous seasons' stock.
Recent work on the system has added images of products and cloth swatches
to the system – ensuring that the product that is being ordered
has the most upto date information associated with it.

Contactadoctor
We were chosen by contactadoctor because they could see that we had the
experience in developing real projects with real benefits. In the past
they had experienced offers that looked good, with impressive buzz words
and graphics – but when it came down to it these companies were
unable to deliver. Revrac does not promise things it cannot deliver and
works with the client to come to a solution that suits the clients requirement,
schedule and budget. This is exactly what Contactadoctor wanted.
We were able to deliver to contactadoctor a design specification and costs
which has enabled them to plan their pilot project. We were then asked to develop the
pilot which has been used to prove the concept and test appetite within the medical community.
Contactadoctor are now seeking second round funding.
We now have a continuing relationship with contactadoctor.
Property
We have produced a property and tenant management system including a website that will allow letting agents to operate without a costly high street presence.
It also allows potential tenants to browse the available properties online and pre-select those that are suitable,
thereby saving the agent’s time and making the viewings much more effective.
One Letting Agency estimated that its' success rate per viewing went up from 1 in 15 to 4 in 15.
This enabled the agents to spend the extra time concentrating on getting new properties.
Letting agents can
- Add properties to the system with the minimum of fuss (copy or re-advertise previously added properties)
- See new potential tenants that have been added to the e-mailing list and check their details
- Email potential tenants with details of properties which match their criteria
- View reports of website statistics and viewings
- Update specific website pages for tenants, landlords and local information
From the comfort of their desk potential tenants can
- register their details and have them added to your e-mailing list
- search the database for suitable properties
- view photos, floor plans, maps and take virtual tours of properties
- add preferred properties to their “notebook”
- arrange viewings
- pass details on to their friends/partners/flat mates
This package is available on a monthly subscription basis, with prices starting from £49 plus VAT.
This price also includes the cost of website hosting.

Xansa
Revrac has a long standing continuing relationship with Xansa. We were
called in when the development project of the online system of a third
party looked like it was about to fail. We were able to rescue the project
and take the third party forward with future developments.
